Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years medical experience or higher degree in science/health.
• Medical assistant certification or registration preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and room patients, record vitals (height, weight).
• Review medical history and chief complaints; gather information.
• Perform blood draws, injections and EKGs.
• Answer in-basket messages and patient follow-up calls.
• Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.
