Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care Advanced MA to work with Mercy Primary Care Providers in delivering safe, timely and patient-centered care. You will partner with patients and the care team to drive quality outcomes in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, medication reconciliation, and documenting in the EHR while addressing care gaps. A high school diploma and MA program completion are required, with BLS certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.
• Must have completed all MA Competencies.
• Certification(s): BLS for hospital outpatient departments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver patient-centered care.
• Assist clinic with rooming patients, vitals, and documentation.
• Perform medication reconciliation and ensure care gaps are addressed.
• Maintain proficiency with EHR and clinical documentation.
• Support quality outcomes through teamwork and communication.
