We are seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support clinicians, coordinate care, and ensure a smooth clinic workflow while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

The role involves welcoming patients, taking vitals, documenting in the EHR, assisting with examinations, vaccines, EKGs, and point-of-care testing, and educating patients on medications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• Current CMA, RMA, or equivalent certification preferred.
• BLS certification current or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• One+ year of experience in a primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine setting preferred.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, medications, allergies and chief complaints.
• Document patient information accurately in the EHR.
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations and procedures.
• Administer vaccines and injections, perform EKGs, collect blood and urine specimens, and conduct point‑of‑care testing.
• Provide patient education on medications, preventive care, chronic disease management, and follow‑up instructions.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate lab testing, imaging orders, referrals, and specialist appointments.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and preventive care programs.
