Job summary

QuadMed in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our employer health center focusing on primary care. The role emphasizes one-on-one patient time and accurate clinical documentation.

You will measure vital signs, assist in examinations, perform phlebotomy, injections, and manage front office tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality. Qualifications include MA education, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of experience; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Certification as MA (AAMA/AMT/NCCT) preferred.
• CPR (BLS) certification or within 60 days of hire.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record vital signs for patients.
• Document interviews, histories, and treatments in the EMR.
• Assist clinicians with examinations and procedures.
• Draw blood samples and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Administer injections and immunizations per order.
• Front office duties: check-in/out, scheduling, payments.
