Hometown Primary Care is seeking a Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our patient-centered team in Ohio. You will support clinicians with clinical tasks and handle front-desk duties to ensure smooth visits and a positive patient experience.

The role emphasizes accurate registration, insurance verification, testing, specimen handling, and patient education on preventive care. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a physician practice or outpatient clinical setting preferred.
• Strong E-Clinical Works Experience Preferred
• Passion for primary care or Internal Medicine
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Flexibility to travel within region as needed

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors with compassion and provides exceptional customer service.
• Register patients by obtaining demographic, insurance, and payment information.
• Handle payments for services, including co-pays.
• Answer multi-line phone system and schedule appointments.
• Daily reconciliation of monies collected
• Educate patients on medications and preventive care during visits
• Assist with routine exams and procedures as needed
