Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for Primary Care in Lake Bluff, IL. The role is 32 hours per week with rotating shifts, including mornings, and occasional travel to other sites. Responsibilities include patient greeting, vitals, documentation, and potential phlebotomy.

We value candidates with a high school diploma, MA program or equivalent experience, CPR certification, and at least one year in a medical office. Training is provided for those without MA background.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• One year of work experience required; prior medical office experience preferred; on-the-job training provided for those without MA training.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam rooms.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals such as BP, height, and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
