Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team in Lake Bluff, IL. This 32-hour position offers rotating shifts from 7am to 6pm with weekend coverage on a rotation. You will greet patients, document vitals and medical information, and provide front office support.

Phlebotomy and injections may be required. Education typically a high school diploma; completion of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Certification: CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for visit.
• Provide front office support as needed.
• Perform basic vitals like BP, height and weight.
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.
