Job summary

Fairview is seeking a Medical Assistant in Stillwater, MN to join the Primary Care team. This 0.85 FTE role offers benefits and a New Hire Sign-On Bonus up to $2,000.

Clinic hours are Mon–Thu 7:00 AM–6:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends. The Medical Assistant supports patient and family-centered care, gathers information for visits, maintains accurate documentation, and helps improve workflow within the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or equivalent.
• Graduate of an LPN program.
• A clinical externship is required for non-certified MA applicants with less than six months of Medical Assistant experience.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Association, Red Cross or MTN)

Responsibilities

• Delivers care as delegated by the physician/authorized practitioner or RN.
• Follows the patient’s plan of care.
• Performs procedures and may include lab draws and medication administration.
• Documents care in the medical record.
• Communicates effectively with the health care team and with patients and families.
• Maintains confidentiality and ensures a safe environment.
