Fairview Health Services is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Primary Care team in Stillwater, MN. This 0.85 FTE role (68 hours per two weeks) offers benefits and a New Hire Sign On Bonus up to $2,000. Clinic hours are Mon-Thu 7:00 AM–6:00 PM and Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends.

The Medical Assistant will support care delivery, gather patient information, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the health care team to improve workflows and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN program.
• Clinical externship required for non-certified MA with less than six months experience.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ambulatory care experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Delivers care as delegated by the physician/authorized practitioner or RN.
• Follows the patient’s plan of care and prioritizes work based on acuity.
• Documents care in the medical record and communicates with the care team.
• Assists with procedures, CPR, lab draws and other high/low risk tasks as defined by the setting.
