Job summary

HealthPartners in Minnesota is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants to join our Primary Care team as partners for good, delivering compassionate care to patients and their families. You will escort patients, document vitals, assist with meds and procedures, and support the rooming process while complying with all laws and internal policies.

BLS certification is required; LPN licensure or MA program completion per accrediting bodies is expected.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be current and from AHA or Red Cross (online certification not accepted).
• LPN licensure or MA program completion per accrediting bodies is required.
• Ability to document vitals and visit information accurately and thoroughly.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and document vitals and visit information.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed.
• Assist with procedures and treatments (e.g., EKGs, bladder scans).
• Ensure rooming processes are completed, including med reconciliation and forms.
• Adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
