Job summary

The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Dodge City, KS, seeks an intermittent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Primary Care Department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program approved by the State agency.
• Active, full, current licensure as a Graduate LPN/LVN in the United States.
• English language proficiency is required for direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Primary Care patients within the PACT team.
• Coordinate care, assist with care planning and education for patients.
• Document patient assessments, medications, and changes per policy.
• Support nursing team with routine tasks and respond to urgent needs.
• Perform duties under supervision of RN/MD/DO and in line with procedures.
