Job summary

UAB Medicine's Cooper Green Mercy outpatient unit seeks an entry-level LPN to provide nursing care under supervision. You will take vital signs, assist with procedures, and support patient comfort in a busy clinic.

You will document in the EHR, follow safety protocols, and work with providers to deliver high-quality care. Shift: Day/1st Shift; onsite location, no travel required. Requirements: accredited PN program, LPN license in Alabama, CPR/BLS; two years clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited Practical Nursing Program completed.
• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Two years clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in basic nursing care and takes vital signs.
• Stock and maintain exam rooms, set up rooms for procedures.
• Document patient information and medications in EHR.
• Demonstrate effective communication with patients and team.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety regulations.
