Job summary

Qualifications

• Current Ohio LPN licensure required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment is required.
• Two years of primary care experience preferred; strong communication and outreach skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist physician and clinical staff in preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
• Perform in-house laboratory tests, venipuncture, and specimen handling.
• Assist with procedures such as colposcopy, skin biopsies, suturing, dressings, and wound care.
• Administer injections and respiratory treatments; conduct EKGs, pulse oximetry, spirometry.
• Prepare exam rooms, stock supplies, and manage inventory and medications.
• Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and handle pre-authorizations with payers.
• Greet patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and input data into IHIS.
