Job summary

OnePeak Medical in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to deliver comprehensive medical care within a forward-thinking, whole-person health model. You will conduct office visits and telehealth, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant or eligible to obtain.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine.
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
• Proficient with electronic health records (NextGen preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care through office visits and telehealth.
• Perform assessments, order labs/imaging, and diagnose conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans including lifestyle interventions.
• Educate patients on preventive and functional medicine.
• Collaborate with health coaches, nutritionists, and staff.
• Document visits in NextGen EHR accurately and timely.
• Participate in quality improvement and team trainings.
• Support clinic operations and maintain a positive environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Provide direct patient care through office visits, telehealth, and occasional same-day appointments
• Perform comprehensive assessments, order and interpret labs/imaging, and diagnose acute and chronic conditions
• Develop personalized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormone therapies, and prescriptions
• Educate and empower patients on preventive health and functional medicine principles
• Collaborate with internal health coaches, nutritionists, mental health providers, and clinical support staff
• Document visits in the EHR (NextGen) in a timely and compliant manner
• Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and training sessions
• Support clinic operations by contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active Oregon license as a Certified Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Strong interest in preventive, functional, and lifestyle medicine
• Excellent communication and patient relationship skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Proficient in using electronic health records (NextGen experience is a plus)
