Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for Providence Place Primary Care in Mt. Juliet, TN.

This full-time, days schedule role supports patient visits by preparing treatment environments, taking vital signs, and documenting patient stories to ensure smooth clinical flow. Requirements include BLS within 30 days, CMA certification within 120 days, a high school diploma or 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or transfer date.
• Certified Medical Assistant within 4 months (120 days) of hire date or transfer date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate seamless patient visits by preparing treatment environments and conducting initial screenings.
• Capture patient stories by accurately documenting vital signs and care journeys.
• Transcribe and process orders for labs and imaging to ensure follow-up services are timely.
• Manage front-of-house communications and keep medical supplies stocked to support the care team.
