Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• At least one year of experience in a medical office environment.
• Must be competent with glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, stethoscope, audioscope, medical phones, and medications.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and communicate in English, orally and in writing, and lift over 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing support to patients.
• Schedule tests and consultations and obtain clinical specimens.
• Maintain adequate clinical supplies and assist with procedures.
• Triage calls and respond to patient portal messages.
• Coordinate referrals and obtain prior authorizations for medications and diagnostics.
