Job summary

Southcoast Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Primary Care office in Swansea, MA. The position is 24 hours per week with a day shift and rotating start times (8:00am, 8:30am, or 9:00am).

Responsibilities include assisting providers with patient care, maintaining EMR documentation, and ensuring efficient patient flow. The CMA may provide medical interpretation and must be fully vaccinated or have an exemption. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient care and procedures.
• Facilitate efficient flow of patients through the clinic.
• Update patient information in the EMR and ensure privacy.
• Communicate test results and schedules to patients as directed.
• Provide language interpretation when needed.
