Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Moore is seeking Medical Assistants, LPNs, and EMT/Paramedics to support providers in a busy Moore, OK clinic. This full-time role focuses on patient preparation, in-office testing, vaccine administration, and care coordination.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification within 90 days, and a preference for 6 months of clinical healthcare experience. CMA/EMT accepted; LPN licensure in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: 6 months clinical healthcare experience, preferably in primary care.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or EMT/Paramedic accepted with BLS within 90 days.
• LPN licensed in Oklahoma and Practical Nursing education.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patient for visit by completing rooming, vitals, history, allergies, and medication reconciliation.
• Assist with in-office testing (blood draw, EKGs, mental status exams, walking oxygen studies, point-of-care).
• Administer vaccines/injections within scope.
• Schedule follow-ups per office policy.
• Collaborate with providers to coordinate care plans.

Formation

High School Diploma or GED

Active BLS certification within 90 days

6 months clinical healthcare experience (preferred)

EMT/Paramedic acceptable

CMA/RMA/CCMA certification accepted

LPN licensure in Oklahoma

• Prepares patient for visit with provider by completing Advanced Standard room process including entering the chief complaint; taking patient vital signs; reviewing patient history and allergies; completing a thorough medication reconciliation; working the Encounter Guide including helping to close any open care gaps such as fall risk, depression screening, breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, and diabetic eye exams; rechecking elevated blood pressures; and completing needed documentation in Epic for yearly preventative visits as needed.


• Assists with any needed in-office testing including, but not limited to, drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKG’s, walking oxygen studies and point of care testing.


• Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice.


• Schedules follow up appointments when needed per office policy.


• Collaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of the care plan.

LPN Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.


• Licensure: Active LPN license in Oklahoma.


• Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, particularly in a primary care office.
