Mercy Clinic Primary Care Edmond I-35 South is hiring multiple medical support roles (MA, LPN, EMT/Paramedic) for a full-time schedule (40 hours/week, M-F, 8am-5pm). The team aims to streamline patient visits, collect vitals, perform tests, manage documentation in Epic, and support preventive care services.

Roles require minimum high school diploma, BLS within 90 days, and 6 months of clinical healthcare experience; LPN license in Oklahoma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred experience: 6 months clinical healthcare experience in primary care.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patient for visit by completing rooming tasks and entering chief complaint.
• Take vital signs and review patient history and allergies.
• Complete medication reconciliation and document in Epic for yearly preventive visits.
• Assist with in-office testing (blood draw, EKG, mental status exams, etc.).
• Administer vaccines and injections within scope of practice.
• Schedule follow-up appointments per office policy.
• Collaborate with providers and clinical care team to coordinate care plans.

Position Details:

Mercy Clinic Primary Care - Edmond I-35 South

Full-Time; 40 hours/week, M-F 8am-5pm

Overview:

Prepares patient for visit with provider by completing Advanced Standard room process including entering the chief complaint; taking patient vital signs; reviewing patient history and allergies; completing a thorough medication reconciliation; working the Encounter Guide including helping to close any open care gaps such as fall risk, depression screening, breast cancer screening, colorectal cancer screening, and diabetic eye exams; rechecking elevated blood pressures; and completing needed documentation in Epic for yearly preventative visits as needed.

Assists with any needed in-office testing including, but not limited to, drawing blood, completing mental status exams, EKG's, walking oxygen studies and point of care testing.

Administer vaccines and other injections within scope of practice.

Schedules follow up appointments when needed per office policy.

Collaborates with providers and clinical care team to monitor and coordinate delivery of the care plan.

Medical Assistant Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant: Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire .
• Preferred Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.

Certified Medical Assistant:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification : Must have active Medical Assistant certification/registration (RMA, CCMA, CMA) or EMT/Paramedic is also accepted. Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

LPN Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Licensure: Active LPN license in Oklahoma.
• Experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience preferred, particularly in a primary care office.
