Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Primary Care Patient Care MA to work directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to deliver safe, timely, effective, and patient-centered care. The role emphasizes collaboration with patients and the care team to drive quality outcomes in a Mercy environment that values service standards and continuous learning.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
• One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience is preferred.
• New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training.

Under the direction of the primary care operations team, the Primary Care Patient Care MA works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care MA will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Education Preferred: Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program

Experience Preferred: One year of applicable patient care experience or applicable medical office experience as defined by the clinic

New hire must attend MA Clinic Academy training
