Mercy is seeking an LPN to serve as a lead role within the department, collaborating with the practice manager. The nurse will apply the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner licensed by a State regulatory board to refill medications and assist with treatment.
You will coordinate patient care, testing and procedures with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality during clinic appointments and phone calls.
The position serves as a lead role within the departments working in conjunction with the practice manager. Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner licensed by a State regulatory board to refill medication and assist with treatment. Maintains professional accountability for provision during clinic appointments and patient phone calls. Coordinates the patient care/testing/procedures in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
