The Manager will lead APPs across multiple regions and settings, maintaining a clinical presence while advancing APP practice models and patient care initiatives.

The role requires a PA or APRN with at least five years of APP experience in primary care, nursing leadership experience, and Illinois licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of Advanced Practice Provider experience in primary care.
• Leadership/management experience preferred, especially in an academic medical center.
• Current Illinois licensure as NP/APN or eligible to obtain license.
• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
• Current certification from ANCC or AANP is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight, coordination, and management of APPs across the primary care service line.
• Partner with PCP, nursing, and operations leadership to set clinical and operational priorities.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure APP practice integrates across all primary care settings.
• Support expansion and optimization of APP models to improve access, throughput, and continuity of care.
• Develop and maintain APP policies, workflows, and best practices for primary care.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, privileging, and retention initiatives.
