Job summary

OhioHealth Athens MOB is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for primary care in outpatient settings, including family medicine, women's health, and internal medicine. The provider collaborates with physicians, conducts assessments, orders tests, and participates in perioperative care as needed.

The role requires an Associate's Degree with AANP/CPR certifications, and 3–5 years of nursing experience. Day shifts, with a focus on safe, high-quality patient care within a High Reliability Organization

Qualifications

• RN with APRN responsibilities in outpatient primary care settings.
• AANP Certification, CPR certification, and Ohio board compliance required.
• 3–5 years of nursing experience in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works under direction and in consultation with physician in outpatient primary care.
• Assesses and evaluates patients, performs H&Ps, orders and interprets tests.
• Assists in diagnostic and invasive procedures; performs pre- and post-operative care; writes orders; discharges patients.
