Job summary

Rush University System for Health invites applications for the position of Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider at our North & Harlem Outpatient Center in Chicago. Join a team of 10 primary care physicians and one APP in a 100% outpatient family medicine practice with flexible 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts, and occasional Saturday clinics.

Compensation ranges $132,000–$200,000 with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous APP experience in a primary care setting preferred (not required).
• RN experience may be considered.
• Active Illinois RN and APN license or eligibility.
• MSN or DNP with clinical specialty relevant to position.
• ANCC or AANP certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• 36 patient-facing hours and four admin hours per week.
• Mon-Fri with 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shift flexibility.
• Hours include a combination of two early or two late clinics (or combo) per week.
• Up to two Saturday morning clinics per month (provider choice).
• Four weeks of phone-based call per year.
• 100% outpatient.

Rush University System for Health invites applications for the position of Primary Care Advanced Practice Provider at our new North & Harlem Outpatient Center in Chicago.

Department/Division Specs

• Practice alongside 10 primary care physicians and one fellow APP
• Primarily Family Medicine Practice seeing all ages
• Strong access to a robust specialty referral network in the building and region

Duties & Responsibilities

• 36 patient-facing hours and four admin hours per week
• Monday-Friday with 8-, 10- or 12-hour shift flexibility
• Hours include a combination of two early or two late clinics (or combo) per week
• Up to two Saturday morning clinics per month (provider choice)
• Four weeks of phone-based call per year
• 100% outpatient

Preferred Qualifications

• Applicants with previous APP experience in a primary care setting preferred (not required)
• Relevant RN experience may be considered

Position Requirements – Nurse Practitioner

• Current licensure in Illinois as a Registered Professional Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse or eligible for licensure through IDFPR
• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice with clinical specialty appropriate to position
• Current certification by ANCC or AANP
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Position Requirements – Physician Assistant

• Current licensure in Illinois as a Physician Assistant/Associate or eligible for licensure through IDFPR
• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant/Associate Program
• Current certification from National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $132,000 - $200,000. Includes base pay, benefits, and incentive programs. Additional compensation may include premium pay rates, sign-on bonuses, and relocation allowances. Comprehensive benefits package.
