# Pricipal Identity, Application & Integration Migration EngineerApply**Job#: 3055286****Job Description:**Pricipal Identity, Application & Integration Migration Engineer**Location:** Houston, Texas (Remote)Role OverviewWe are seeking a senior Identity, Application, and Integration Migration Engineer for a large-scale application migration and separation initiative. This hands-on technical role requires an expert who can validate application behavior, uncover undocumented dependencies, and proactively mitigate migration risks. The ideal candidate has personally experienced large-scale migrations and understands how to ensure business-critical applications continue functioning throughout complex cutover events.Key Responsibilities* Support the migration of enterprise applications into diverse target environments, including SaaS, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and hybrid identity platforms.* Validate authentication, authorization, and access control models before migration to ensure seamless user access post-cutover.* Assess and troubleshoot SSO integrations, identity platform configurations, MFA implementations, and certificate-based authentication.* Map application dependencies and integration points, verifying that applications can communicate with required systems after migration.* Identify undocumented integrations, authentication dependencies, and certificate requirements that are not captured in architecture diagrams or migration plans.* Review migration strategies and challenge assumptions when technical plans do not align with the actual environment.* Work directly with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security teams to resolve migration issues before they impact production.* Actively participate in cutover bridges and war room activities, providing hands-on troubleshooting for access, identity, and integration-related issues.* Support post-migration stabilization, resolve deferred issues, and document recurring gaps to improve future migration efforts.Required Qualifications**Experience:*** 8+ years of experience in identity engineering, application engineering, or application migration roles.* Multiple enterprise application migration and cutover projects in complex, and sometimes poorly documented, environments.* Proven experience supporting production cutovers, war rooms, and high-pressure migration events.**Technical Skills:*** Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, SSO technologies, and authentication/authorization frameworks.* Deep experience with MFA platforms, certificate management (PKI), Microsoft 365, and third-party application integrations.* Expertise in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across networking, infrastructure, identity, and application dependencies.* Experience supporting SaaS migrations and tenant-to-tenant migration efforts.Preferred Qualifications* Experience with GCC and GCC High environments.* Experience supporting divestitures, carve-outs, or corporate separation programs.* Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, firewall concepts, and infrastructure dependencies.* Familiarity with FedRAMP environments and security controls.* Experience supporting coexistence environments during complex migrations. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
