Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required in finance, mathematics, computer science, or accounting.
  • 3–7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Broad product and P&L knowledge in fixed income, rates, or listed/OTC instruments.
  • Strong reference data background and understanding of centralized databases.
  • Familiarity with market data providers (Bloomberg, Markit, IDC).
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables/macros) and basic coding (SQL, Python, R).

Responsibilities

  • Price all securities (listed and OTC) using vendor and internal sources.
  • Leverage software and AI (SQL, Python, Excel, ChatGPT, Claude) to redesign and enhance P&L data production.
  • Review pricing, P&L validations, and product identifiers for accuracy.
  • Investigate real-time issues and complete EOD market value / P&L reconciliations.
  • Coordinate daily pricing and P&L production with the Administrator.
  • Assist with month-end price testing of all products, including structured products and OTC derivatives.
  • Collaborate with investment teams, fund accountants, external audit, and third-party fund admins.
  • Monitor reconciliations to ensure data flow between systems.
  • Create new securities across systems for accuracy and consistency.
  • Set up and maintain bond, swap, and credit curve generators.

A global asset manager and family office with $28 billion in assets under management is seeking a high-caliber candidate to join their P&L / Reference Data Team. The role involves collaboration with investment, trade support, technology, and risk teams, focusing on the daily production and reconciliation of real‑time and end‑of‑day P&L.

Job Responsibilities
  • Pricing of all securities (listed and OTC) using vendor and internal price sources.
  • Leverage software & AI (SQL, Python, Excel, ChatGPT, Claude) to redesign & enhance processes for P&L data production, monitoring, and validation.
  • Review pricing and P&L validations and ensure correct product identifiers for accurate pricing.
  • Investigate issues in real‑time and complete EOD market value / P&L reconciliations.
  • Coordinate daily pricing and P&L production with the Administrator.
  • Assist with month‑end price testing of all products, including Structured Products and OTC derivatives.

Compensation
