Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking team members to stock shelves and prepare the store for daily operations. You will move products from pallets to shelves, manage back-room duties, and maintain an organized, clean workspace.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and customer-friendly service, with overnight shifts to set up for the day. Physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs are required, and basic technology is used for processes and scans.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follows processes and works in an organized, efficient way.
• Stays calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
