Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Pricing Analyst, Operations to quote US Air and Sea shipments within the established pricing framework and collaborate with regional teams to support growth and retention.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and experience in transportation/logistics pricing. A focus on data-driven pricing strategies and teamwork with sales and operations is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of pricing or analytical experience in transportation and logistics.
• 6+ years in transportation and logistics industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large amounts of data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and timely quotes within the defined pricing system to support Operations or Sales Customer requests.
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to understand customer needs and develop pricing proposals that meet those needs.
• Analyze pricing data and trends to identify areas where pricing strategies need attention and optimization.
• Monitor individual pricing performance and identify areas where improvements are needed to win business.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Support the maintenance of the pricing databases.
