Job summary

Jobtailor in Houston, TX is seeking a pricing analyst to support quotes for DSV US Air and Sea shipments and respond to customer requests from Operations or Sales. You will develop pricing proposals with the sales and operations teams and monitor pricing performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Ideal candidates have strong data analysis skills, excel proficiency, and knowledge of pricing databases; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in pricing/analytical role in logistics, or 6+ years in transportation/logistics.

• Familiarity with TMS/ERP systems preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or related field preferred.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a pricing or analytical role in the transportation and logistics industry, or 6+ years of experience in the transportation and logistics industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of data
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
• Fluent in English, oral and written
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems preferred
• Experience with pricing in the transportation and logistics industry preferred
• Experience in transportation and logistics operations preferred
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or a related field preferred
