Job summary

Kroger in Powell, OH is seeking a Store Clerk to maintain pricing documentation accuracy and assist customers, testing and scanning vendors as required.

You will handle weekly ad items, housekeeping in the computer room, data entry, and ensure compliance with policies while working flexible shifts including weekends and holidays. This role emphasizes reliability and customer service within a busy store environment.

Qualifications

• Prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, bulletins, etc.
• Perform stock clerk duties and customer service duties as scheduled.
• Dependable and of high integrity.
• Knowledge of employment laws and OSHA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Check in and test scan all vendors.
• Maintain weekly ad item in scanning file.
• Housekeeping in computer room and related tasks.
• Copy PLU File twice a week.
• Maintain documentation on all retail accounting.
• Test scan entire store every six to eight weeks.
• Maintain Special Report File (A.C. Nielsen, Sami, etc).
• Perform other duties as assigned by store manager and scanning supervisors.
• Adhere to company policies and dress code; ensure respectful workplace.
• Be flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Perform essential functions with/without accommodation.
