Job summary

Hugo's Family Marketplace seeks a Pricing Specialist to manage pricing across systems, respond to discrepancies, and support pricing operations. You will help with technical issues, generate reports, and assist staff with inquiries.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year in retail/pricing, and strong Excel/analytical skills; knowledge of SQL/BI tools is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site role in Grand Forks, ND.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in retail operations, pricing, merchandising or related role.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills; attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel; SQL or BI tools a plus.
• Familiarity with pricing systems, POS or ERP software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update pricing across multiple systems.
• Respond to stores and vendors regarding pricing discrepancies.
• Assist Pricing and DSD staff with technical and reporting issues.
• Answer general inquiries from store/admin associates.
• Analyze data to support pricing strategies and decisions.
• Understand retail margins, promotions, and markdowns.
• Collaborate to enhance pricing systems and processes.
• Support implementation of pricing strategies aligned with market trends.
