Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience navigating Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), specifically within inventory, purchasing, and pricing modules.
• Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and text formulas for large data manipulation to prepare P21 imports.
• Background in data entry, data management, or pricing administration in wholesale distribution or industrial supply.
• Mathematical acumen with percentages, gross margins, markups, and multi-tiered discount structures.
• High alphanumeric data entry speed with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• P21 Price Maintenance: Maintain and audit P21 price libraries and contracts, including customer pricing matrices and vendor cost contracts.
• Bulk Data Management: Use Excel and P21 import tools to prepare, format, and execute pricing data uploads.
• System Auditing & Cleanup: Run variance reports or SQL queries to detect and correct data issues, expired contracts, or negative margins.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with AR, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve invoice pricing discrepancies and order blocks.
• Unit of Measure Accuracy: Ensure vendor cost changes align with P21 UOM conversions (per piece, box, pallet).

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail oriented and tech savvy Pricing Specialist with experience working with ERP systems (Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) preferred) including high volume pricing modules and data structures. The ideal candidate thrives on data integrity, masters Excel, and understands how to navigate P21’s unique pricing libraries, matrices, and customer structures to ensure seamless invoicing and sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• P21 Price Maintenance: Maintain, update, and audit P21 Price Libraries and Job Contracts including Customer Pricing Matrices and Vendor Cost Contracts subject to expiration timelines
• Bulk Data Management: Use Excel and P21 import tools to prepare, format, and execute pricing data uploads
• System Auditing & Cleanup: Run routine P21 variance reports or SQL-based queries to detect and correct data entry errors, expired contracts, missing costs, or negative margin exceptions.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Sales, and Customer Service teams to investigate and resolve P21-generated invoice pricing discrepancies and order entry blockages.
• Unit of Measure Accuracy: Ensure baseline vendor cost changes are correctly tied to P21 unit of measure (UOM) conversions (e.g., pricing per piece vs. box vs. pallet).

Qualifications & Skills

• Preferred P21 Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience navigating Epicor Prophet 21 (P21), specifically within the inventory, purchasing, and pricing modules
• Advanced Excel Skills: Must be highly proficient with functions necessary for large-scale data manipulation, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and text formulas (Concatenate, Text to Columns, etc.) to prepare files for P21 import.
• Background: Prior experience in data entry, data management, or pricing administration within a wholesale distribution or industrial supply environment.
• Mathematical Acumen: Comfortable working with percentages, gross margins, markups, and complex, multi-tiered wholesale discount structures.
• Speed & Precision: High alphanumeric data entry speed paired with an uncompromising eye for detail
