Job summary

Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Scanning Coordinator Back Up to maintain price files, shelf tags, and signage across our stores. You will assist customers, support pricing changes, and ensure accurate tagging in coordination with department managers.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Store Support. Experience in natural foods is a plus, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in Store Support department processes.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all shelf tags and updates as necessary.
• Activates price changes daily in the computer.
• Executes timely promotions with accurate tagging and coordination with managers.
• Informs Support Staff and Store Director of scanning inaccuracies.
• Assists customers with needs and special orders.
• Responds to customer suggestions and complaints.
• Prepares and submits required paperwork and reports.
• Upkeep of store cleanliness including mopping and sweeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
