Job summary

ShopRite is hiring a Scanning Clerk for the East Windsor location in New Jersey. The role focuses on delivering a great customer experience, maintaining pricing integrity storewide, and keeping equipment and systems in proper working order as assigned by management.

Responsibilities include updating price files, ensuring accuracy with ads, and following safety and QA standards while interacting with customers in a friendly manner.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Operate a computer terminal keyboard and calculator.
• Interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete weekly price changes transmitted to the store file and correct discrepancies.
• Maintain pricing file accuracy to match circulars and ads.
• Maintain UPL program by sorting and placing UPL tags.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and pricing standards.
• Maintain a clean, neat, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
