Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Finance & Pricing Analyst to join its Addison Finance & Accounting practice in Washington, DC. The role focuses on evaluating client rates, revenue performance, profitability, and pricing trends to optimize commercial outcomes.

You will work with pricing leadership to develop models, analyze billing data, and support strategic recommendations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, 2–6 years of relevant experience, and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Approximately 2-6 years of relevant professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with legal or professional services financial systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pricing leadership to evaluate client rates, revenue performance, profitability, realization, and overall financial trends, identifying opportunities to optimize pricing strategies and support key commercial initiatives.
• Analyze client pricing arrangements, billing data, and financial performance to uncover opportunities for improved profitability and revenue outcomes, working closely with internal stakeholders to implement recommendations.
• Contribute to periodic rate reviews and client performance assessments by examining historical data, utilization metrics, industry trends, competitive insights, and financial results to support informed decision-making.
• Develop and maintain pricing models, matter budgets, and financial analyses to support forecasting, alternative fee arrangements, client proposals, and business development efforts.
• Track the effectiveness of pricing strategies and budget performance by monitoring actual results against projections, leveraging insights to enhance future forecasting, pricing decisions, and overall financial performance.
