Job summary

ABC Supply Co. Inc. is seeking a Pricing/Merchandising Analyst at its Beloit, WI campus. This onsite role partners with stakeholders to support pricing decisions and develops analytic tools and dashboards to drive profitability.

The analyst will work with Vendavo, Excel, Tableau, and SQL to generate regular and ad hoc reports, helping field teams optimize pricing strategies and merchandise performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Accounting, Math, Statistics preferred)
• 5+ years of related experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience with Tableau, OBIEE and/or other analytical tools preferred
• SQL required, Python or R highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Partner with key stakeholders to understand merchandising intelligence needs and develop tools that support those needs across the organization.
• Support company-wide pricing best practices by creating and managing analytical tools that help field teams make informed pricing decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales and profitability through pricing and merchandising optimization strategies; define goals and report progress.
• Analyze market dynamics, pricing trends, market opportunities, and sales/margin performance to develop merchandising reports and tools.
• Perform pricing and margin analysis to support key business initiatives.
• Provide regular and ad hoc pricing/merchandising analysis to management, including month-end reports on vendor, merchandising, sales, gross profit, and pricing performance.
• Develop, maintain, and improve field pricing software, including Vendavo and related tools
