Job summary

Grimco is seeking a Pricing Intern at its Sunset Hills, Missouri location to support pricing initiatives through analysis, market research, and data-driven decision making. You will gain hands-on experience with pricing methodologies and revenue optimization in a dynamic, family-owned business environment.

You will conduct competitive pricing analysis, help collect and clean data, assist in developing recommendations for new products, and prepare presentations for senior management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• Strong academic performance with coursework in statistics, economics, or quantitative analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R; Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct competitive pricing analysis across product lines and market segments.
• Assist with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing pricing data from multiple sources.
• Support market research to understand customer price sensitivity and buying behaviors.
• Maintain pricing databases and dashboards for management reporting.
• Develop pricing recommendations for new product launches and existing offerings.
• Support price-testing initiatives by analyzing impact on sales and profitability.
• Prepare pricing presentations and reports for senior management and participate in meetings.
• Document key decisions and action items; seek process improvements.
