Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a detail-oriented Back Up Scan Coordinator to manage price changes and signage across departments. You will help maintain pricing integrity and comply with company and regulatory requirements while supporting daily operations in a fast-paced store.

This role requires strong analytical skills, math ability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. It offers opportunities for growth within a growing natural foods retailer and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to analyze scanning programs, maintain reports and schedules, and understand billing principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Able to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Able to read price tags, create and post signs; good vision; able to use a computer to activate pricing and to use a step ladder.
• Able to lift and transfer boxes up to 17 lbs, walk up to 4 miles per 8 hours, and crouch/kneel/squat to reach low areas.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly and monthly price changes and update shelf signs and tags.
• Ensure pricing integrity and compliance with company and governmental regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy and signage across departments.
• Work quickly and accurately to support pricing tasks in a fast-paced store environment.
