Job summary

Rise Baking Company in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Finance-Commercial professional to provide high-level decision support through pricing, planning, and ad hoc reporting. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and other functions to drive financial performance and cost targets for new products.

The role requires a finance or accounting degree and 2+ years of financial analysis experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and data management.
• Exposure to standard costing, PPV, or manufacturing cost structures is a plus.
• High level of proficiency with Excel.
• Strong financial acumen, including ability to analyze data and communicate financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with varying levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level pricing, planning, and analytical support to senior leadership.
• Develop pricing recommendations for Sales in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with R&D and operations on new products and formulate cost targets.
• Analyze profitability and inflation trends; provide insights to the team.
• Maintain rate planning scenarios feeding the profitability tool.
• Review profitability and flag areas of concern with the team.
• Complete ad hoc projects and month-end system allocations.
• Participate in annual planning and review key customers.
• Comply with food safety requirements and company policies.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
