Job summary

Rise Baking Company in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Senior Compensation and Benefits Analyst to lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs. You will ensure market-competitive pay structures and compliant programs while advising HR leadership on pay decisions and program design.

The role requires 4-7 years in compensation/benefits analysis, advanced Excel, HRIS proficiency, and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field
4-7 years of compensation/benefits analysis experience
CCP or CEBS certification preferred
Knowledge of global benefits programs
Advanced Excel and compensation modeling; HRIS proficiency
Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA and pay-transparency laws
Ability to work independently and lead a workgroup
Strong analytical and communication skills
Familiarity with AI/automation tools for data analysis

Responsibilities

Design and manage annual compensation cycle including structure maintenance and market pricing
Design pay structures, job families, salary grades, and leveling frameworks
Benchmark annual budgets and merit matrices
Leverage AI tools and automation for analysis and reporting
Advise managers on pay decisions for hires/promotions/equity adjustments
Support design/admin of variable pay plans
Manage compensation market data and annual market review process
Conduct job evaluation and market pricing aligned to best practices
Perform pay equity analyses and audits
Research compensation trends and legislative developments
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws
Maintain documentation standards
Partner with Legal/Compliance on regulatory changes
Partner with HRIS for data integrity
Support US/Canada health and welfare programs
Manage open enrollment and vendor relationships
Communicate coverage and plan design changes to employees
Monitor benefits utilization and cost containment
Design root cause analyses from data to improve processes
Support food safety program and legality of products
Perform other duties as assigned
