Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Pricing Data Analyst to partner with the Pricing Data Manager on pricing data development, growth, reporting, and BI tool implementation. The role focuses on maintaining and delivering pricing reports, databases, data queries, and BI tools to key department personnel, while developing new BI capabilities.

You will create and manage pricing reports, develop ad hoc reports with the Pricing Data Team, ensure data quality, and contribute to BI projects that support

Qualifications

• Experience with relational databases and report writing.
• Advanced PC skills including Excel, Access, SQL and VBA.
• Extreme accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation, communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to deliver quality work and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Advanced SQL and VBA skills (desired).
• Strong mathematics and statistics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Create new and manage existing Pricing Department reports.
• Have working knowledge of all Pricing business intelligence projects and initiatives.
• Develop ad hoc reports and alerts with Pricing Data Team.
• Provide insight into existing report methodology and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain data standards and data availability within Pricing.
• Collaborate with other departments to locate potential data sources for Pricing.
• Assist in maintenance, distribution, and creation of BI tools meeting objectives.
