Job summary

Frank B. Fuhrer Wholesale in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an entry-level Pricing/Cost Analyst to support the finance and sales teams. This is an in-office position with standard hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

You will analyze cost data, recommend pricing, and prepare ad hoc reports using multiple software platforms. The role requires an accounting-related internship or one year of experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• A recent accounting-related internship or at least one year of prior experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge and application of basic accounting procedures and cost accounting processes
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel features

Responsibilities

• Gather, compile, analyze and interpret cost data to identify profit margins and recommend pricing.
• Provide management cost analysis to support pricing structure of products.
• Prepare ad hoc reports leveraging multiple software platforms to support analysis and recommendations.
• Review and maintain new product cost components utilizing the Company’s industry-specific software.
• Coordinate with suppliers to maximize any reimbursements available based on promotional programs.
