Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Category Merchandising & Pricing professional to analyze a portfolio of Categories, manage assortment, pricing, and shelf presentation, and support the Category Manager with vendor relationships.

This role collaborates with Shelf Merchandising, Banner Merchandising, Pricing, Replenishment, Marketing, and Supply Chain to optimize promotions and pricing strategies to meet financial targets while delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years combined experience in retail, merchandising, category, pricing, logistics, supply chain, procurement, and distribution.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• Experience with computer programs: SEGA, DSS, WMS, Relex, Inforem, Revionics, MSP, Syndicated Data (IRI/Nielsen), Market Track (Ad Tracking).
• Knowledge of Fresh or Center Store categories and related best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to CMP departments to achieve strategies and initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments to meet budgeted KPIs such as Sales, Margin, and Net Contribution.
• Analyze assigned categories, execute promotional planning, assortment changes, and in-store marketing investments.
