Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Specialist for the Supply Chain Analytics team. You will own pricing and budgeting analytics used by Procurement and Finance leadership to drive decisions on material costs and spend.

The role sits at the intersection of procurement, cost reporting, and budgeting, collaborating across procurement, purchasing, and finance to automate and improve tools. You will transform ambiguous procurement data into actionable insights, build budgets, run variance analyses, and automate

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant analytic experience with budgets, reports, and data visualizations.
• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain, Business, Math, Engineering, Data/CS.
• Proficiency with SQL to query production data pipelines and reporting.
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling and data analytics; automation in spreadsheets is a plus.
• Experience with Python and data visualization tools (Tableau) is a plus.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Own the ingredient static-pricing process and quarterly SKU pricing refresh.
• Build and maintain ingredient and packaging budget files across annual cycles.
• Own weekly tariff and PO-price-variance reporting for COGS narratives.
• Maintain the SKU Supply Health Scorecard and related data feeds.
• Partner cross-functionally to keep pricing, budgeting, and inflation-tracking on cadence.
• Automate manual, spreadsheet-based processes as tooling matures.
• Proactively identify data-driven insights for senior leadership.
