Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic reporting in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership to improve visibility into plant performance and product profitability.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of financial or business analysis experience and advanced skills in Power BI, Adaptive Planning, and operational reporting tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of financial analysis, operational finance, or manufacturing analytics.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills including Power Query, Pivot tables, and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly forecasts, budgets, and long‑range financial plans.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, labor costs, and manufacturing variances.
• Perform variance analysis: standard vs actual, forecast vs actual.
• Support monthly close with financial reporting and performance reviews.
• Build financial models to evaluate pricing, capital investments, and capacity.
• Monitor manufacturing performance: labor efficiency, scrap, inventory turns.
