Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a pricing analytics professional to administer and optimize pricing platforms across specialty lines.

The role leverages data analysis and performance metrics to drive adoption, effectiveness, and continuous improvement, including CDP and market analytics tools. You will develop and explain pricing structures, ensure alignment with best practices, and maintain test/control models.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years industry experience or 1–3 years in an analytical role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Access, Power BI and data warehouses/cubes.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision.

Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:

• Administer and support pricing platforms and initiatives for Sunbelt's Specialty lines of business, leveraging data analysis and performance metrics to drive adoption, effectiveness, and continuous improvement, including:
  • Customer Dynamic Pricing (CDP)
  • Market analytics tools
  • Competitive and market pricing intelligence
  • Web-based pricing and market data processes
• Provide both in-depth analysis and clear explanation of pricing structures and alignment across Sunbelt’s various end markets as well as how they will improve performance
• Ensure Sunbelt’s rate/price optimization programs and campaigns align with best practices and are perpetuated throughout all of levels of the organization
• Work independently to maintain extensive test and control models to determine best practices and improvement opportunities
• Implement analysis packages using data warehouse, SQL, Power BI, and other tools and processes
• Support management in the interpretation and execution of KPI reports and other performance metrics
• Collaborate with IT leadership in building and optimizing consistent rate tools, processes and system integration
• Additional special projects as assigned/needed

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• BS in Finance, Economics, Operations or related business discipline or equivalent experience
• 3 - 5 years industry experience or 1 - 3 years’ experience in an analytical role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, Access, Power BI and data warehouses/data cubes
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and with limited supervision

Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Some Sunbelt jobs may require driving for long periods of time, loading and unloading heavy equipment, performing work in extreme weather conditions including rain, wind or excessive temperatures and/or night and weekend work. Base Pay Range: $64,790.00 - 89,086.80

Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
