This position supports profitable growth for The Hartford's Personal Lines Auto and Home products by delivering high-quality product changes to our customers. We are looking for someone with strong communication and time management skills, with a desire to continuously improve established processes and to creatively solve new problems.

Responsibilities

• Update rate and rule manuals with proposed changes, compile and submit filing exhibits for state regulators, and partner with IT to deploy product changes into market.
• Participate in countrywide projects, class plan enhancements or maintenance of complex product features.
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with pricing analytics, countrywide and state product management, technology, operations, data science, compliance and legal organizations.
• Work as a team to continuously challenge and improve the capabilities of the organization, including process improvements, documentation and quality measures.

Experience & Skills

• Four-year degree preferred
• 3+ years of experience in insurance/financial service sector preferred, familiarity with Personal Insurance products a plus
• Self-driven with strong time management skills; effective at multi-tasking and juggling various demands of their time, while meeting critical deadlines

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work schedule. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work schedule, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $54,800 - $82,200
