Job summary

Oshkosh Defense is seeking a Pricing Analyst Intern to support the Accounting or Finance Department during Spring/Summer 2027 in Oshkosh, WI. The role focuses on developing cost estimates for proposals and understanding customer requirements through contracts with domestic and international scope.

You will create complete cost/price proposals, analyze financial impact, and assist finance teams with overflow tasks. Travel to Oshkosh, WI may be required, with relocation assistance if needed.

Qualifications

• Sophomore standing or higher working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Administration throughout the internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027 (relocation assistance provided for those >50 miles).

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for proposals and quotations with cross-functional teams.
• Understand customer requirements for products/services from contracts (domestic and international).
• Create accurate, timely cost/price proposals for submittal to customers.
• Analyze and relay financial/business impact of a proposal to the finance team.
• Assist other finance functions in overflow duties as needed.
• Take on special projects as assigned by the pricing manager.
• Other duties or projects as assigned.

The Pricing Analyst Intern will assist and support either the Accounting or Finance Department within a particular business segment. *This position has a Spring/Summer 2027 start date.

YOUR IMPACT

• Work with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, integrated logistics systems and other functional areas to develop cost estimates for proposals and quotations.


• Work with contracts (both domestic and international) to develop full understanding of customer requirements for the product and/or service being quoted.


• Create a complete, accurate, and timely cost /price proposal for submittal to customers.


• Analyze and relay the financial/business impact of a proposal internally to the finance team.


• Assist other functional areas within finance (general accounting and government compliance) in overflow situations as required.


• Take on and resolve special projects as assigned by the pricing manager.


• All other duties or projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Administration throughout the entire duration of the internship.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.


• Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2027 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Oshkosh, WI).

• Pay Range: $18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
