Job summary

Oshkosh Defense is seeking a Pricing Analyst Intern to assist the Accounting or Finance Department. The role involves developing cost estimates for proposals, collaborating with contracts to capture customer requirements, and creating full cost/price proposals for submittal.

You will analyze financial impacts with the finance team and support overflow tasks within accounting and government compliance. The internship begins Spring/Summer 2027; relocation assistance is provided for qualifying

Qualifications

• Sophomore standing or greater working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Administration.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for Summer 2027 (relocation assistance if >50 miles).

Responsibilities

• Develop cost estimates for proposals and quotations with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with contracts to understand customer requirements for quoted products/services.
• Create complete, accurate cost/price proposals for submittal to customers.
• Analyze financial impact of proposals with the finance team.
• Assist other finance areas in overflow situations as required.
• Manage special projects as assigned by the pricing manager.
• Perform any other duties or projects as assigned.

The Pricing Analyst Intern will assist and support either the Accounting or Finance Department within a particular business segment.

• This position has a Spring/Summer 2027 start date.

YOUR IMPACT

• Work with purchasing, manufacturing, engineering, integrated logistics systems and other functional areas to develop cost estimates for proposals and quotations.
• Work with contracts (both domestic and international) to develop full understanding of customer requirements for the product and/or service being quoted.
• Create a complete, accurate, and timely cost /price proposal for submittal to customers.
• Analyze and relay the financial/business impact of a proposal internally to the finance team.
• Assist other functional areas within finance (general accounting and government compliance) in overflow situations as required.
• Take on and resolve special projects as assigned by the pricing manager.
• All other duties or projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Student in a Sophomore standing or greater working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics or Business Administration throughout the entire duration of the internship.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access.
• Willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh, WI for the Summer of 2027 (relocation assistance provided for those with a permanent address of greater than 50 miles from Oshkosh, WI).

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
