Qualifications

  • Experience with pricing, sales, and cost data is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze pricing, sales, cost, and competitive data to support pricing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain analytical models to evaluate position and scenarios.
  • Partner with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Analytics teams.
  • Support ad hoc analyses and deep dives for time-sensitive questions.
  • Review outputs and recommend price adjustments based on market signals.
  • Monitor post-price-change performance and summarize findings.

DTNA internships begin each summer in May or June.Interns in this role may have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position subject to manager evaluations and business availability.The department is responsible for creating market-based pricing for all parts sold in the aftermarket. It works to understand and determine market value and pricing structures to improve gross profit and margin.During the internship, the intern will make valuable contributions to the pricing organization by analyzing pricing, sales, cost, and competitive data to support strategic decision-making. They will build and maintain analytical models, dashboards, and reports that improve visibility into competitive positioning, pricing scenarios, performance trends, and key pricing metrics. The intern will collaborate effectively with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Product, Finance, and Analytics partners, while also delivering timely ad hoc analyses to address business needs.
